Overview
ULS-ProCopter is a proven Generation 1 precision landing system designed for professional multi-rotor UAV applications. Featuring an ultra-lightweight 10-gram receiver and robust 20-meter operational range transmitter, it delivers reliable centimeter positioning accuracy for autonomous landing operations.
Key Features
Ultra-Lightweight Design
The receiver unit weighs only 10 grams, making it ideal for weight-sensitive applications and small to medium-sized drones without compromising performance.
Wide Coverage
With a working angle exceeding 100 degrees and operational range from 0.1m to 20m, the system provides flexible positioning coverage for various landing scenarios.
High Update Rate
20Hz data update frequency ensures smooth, responsive positioning data for precise flight control and landing operations.
Comprehensive Integration
Full support for ArduPilot, PX4 and custom autopilots with UART, and CAN interfaces for seamless system integration.
All-Weather Operation
Infrared-based optical tracking technology operates reliably in various weather conditions, day and night, fog, rain.
System Components
Transmitter (Ground Unit)

A transmitter is a device placed on the ground (platform, moving object). It emits a signal in the Infrared range and serves as a kind of beacon that marks the landing position for the drone.
The primary function of the transmitter is to continuously send out a coded signal that can be detected and interpreted by the receiver unit onboard the aircraft. This signal contains critical information needed for the operation of the ULS-ProCopter, such as positional data, commands, and system status.
Receiver (Onboard Unit)

A receiver is a miniature device placed on board the aircraft that decodes the transmitter signal to derive flight information such as positional coordinates, real-time transmitter status updates, and landing guidance.
The receiver interprets the data to navigate accurately and ensure the drone follows the intended flight path. It provides feedback to autopilot systems, such as Ardupilot and PX4, to adjust the flight parameters as needed for optimal and safe landing or hovering above.
